Photometry
Photometry is the science of measuring light in a way that considers how the human eye perceives it. It is how lighting designers can predict and evaluate how the design perform in a space before construciton even begins.
LumenArc Designs uses photometric computer software to calculate and model the light output of a lighting design based on the exact fixtures specified to determine light levels and distribution that are appropriate for each space type. The calculation renderings demonstrate light character and performance that provide a back-check to design suggestions. It is the science behind the art.
